Below, I’ll tell you a little about each of my services.
graphic design
I create graphic design for print, which has been the mainstay of my career for well over 25 years. I have a degree in Graphic Communication and a passion for helping businesses progress.
I especially like to work with Derbyshire businesses and aim to create a strong working relationship with my clients, getting to know their services, products and values to create design that genuinely connects with them and their clients.
This includes working on image, branding and printed materials ranging from stationery to large-scale exhibition graphics.

I have created many illustrations, and my work has come into its own over the past few years with pieces for training materials, apps and book covers, to mention just a few outlets.

artworks & Positive Mental Artitude
It has been no secret that I have found great solace in gardening and painting. Over the past couple of years interest has grown in my artworks, and I coined the phrase ‘Positive Mental Artitude’.

In short, for me, it’s all about art as a means of encouraging mindfulness every day, whether that be pieces you enjoy looking at or time spent creating yourself.
content writing
I began writing as a hobby around 2014 with my diggingtheearth.org.uk blog about my allotment gardening. I still write for this blog, which has also progressed into a column for The Derbyshire Times. The content now covers allotment gardening and my thoughts on mental wellness.
I also write for this website on many topics, including art, design and Positive Mental Artitude, as mentioned above.
I write blog content for my clients and, as required, populate their social media. Their website traffic has increased considerably by doing this consistently.
As a side note, whilst I believe the use of AI in marketing and social media is a brilliant development, especially for idea generation and time-saving. I don’t think it can replace the human touch in overseeing and ensuring a brand’s consistent tone and genuine client-to-business connection. I would encourage this to be considered when planning content creation.
